Your resume content
Everything you type — your name, work history, bullets, skills — stays in your browser. It's held in memory and saved to your browser's local storage so you don't lose it on refresh. It is never uploaded, never sent to a server, and never seen by us. If you import an existing resume file or paste a job description to match against, that text is parsed entirely on your device too. Closing the tab without exporting loses your data, because there's nothing on our end to recover it from.
Anonymous usage counts
We track four things, anonymously: that a visit happened, that a resume was created, that a PDF was downloaded, and a country — resolved from your IP address by our server at the moment of the request. The IP address itself is never stored, only the resulting country. None of this is tied to you personally — there's no account, no cookie, no device ID connecting one event to another. We use this only to understand whether the tool is being used and where from.
Feedback
If you use the feedback box to send a suggestion, that message (and the same anonymous country signal above) is stored so we can read it. It's one-way — there's no name or email attached, no way for us to reply, and it's never shown to anyone else.
If you buy Pro
This is the one case where we store something identifying. Purchases go through Razorpay; when a payment succeeds, we store your email and Razorpay's payment reference so we can verify your purchase and hand you a license the next time you open the app. That's it — no card details ever reach us, and this record is never linked to any resume content.
What we don't do
No AI or LLM ever reads your resume — every check, suggestion, and score in this app is plain, deterministic logic running in your browser. No third-party analytics scripts, no ad trackers, no cookies for advertising. We don't sell or share data with anyone, because there's essentially nothing about you to sell.
